Ayurvedic Thai Massage

Ayurvedic Thai Massage, sometimes called Thai yoga massage, combines acupressure along the body's energy lines, rhythmic compression, and assisted stretches into one continuous full-body session. It runs 75, 90, or 120 minutes and starts at $140. You stay clothed and the work happens on a floor mat, not a table.

75–120 min · from $140

A traditional healing practice combining stretching, rhythmic compression, and energy balancing based on Ayurvedic principles. It restores vitality and flexibility through a full body experience.

What happens in a session

No oil. Krysta uses her palms, thumbs, elbows, feet, and body weight. The sequence moves from your feet up through the legs, back, arms, and neck. She guides you into stretches and back out again. The pace is slow and rhythmic. You'll be moved through lying, side-lying, and seated positions.

Who it's for

People who feel stiff more than sore. Yoga practitioners and athletes. Anyone who wants to stay clothed. Clients often describe it as having yoga done to them. It's not the right session for an acute injury, or if getting on and off a floor mat is hard for you.

Before and after

Wear loose, stretchy clothes, not jeans. Eat lightly an hour or two before. You'll probably feel taller and looser afterward. Keep the rest of the day easy.

Things to tell Krysta

Recent surgery, osteoporosis, a herniated disc, very flexible joints, high blood pressure. If you're pregnant, book Prenatal Thai Massage instead.

Questions people ask

Do I take my clothes off?

No. Thai massage is done clothed. Wear something you could do yoga in.

Is it painful?

Compression can feel intense and the stretches go deep, but nothing is forced. Krysta works within your range and checks in as she goes.

What does Ayurvedic mean here?

Thai massage draws on Indian Ayurvedic ideas about energy lines (sen) and balance. The acupressure and stretching follow those lines.

How is it different from Therapeutic Massage?

No oil, no table, no undressing, and a lot more stretching and movement. If you want kneading and pressure on specific muscles, Therapeutic Massage or Chronic Tension Relief is closer.
