Questions people ask
When in pregnancy can I book?
Many clients start in the second trimester. If you're in the first trimester or your pregnancy is high-risk, check with your provider first and tell Krysta when you book.
Will I lie on my stomach?
You can, on the pregnancy pillow with a belly cut-out. Or you can lie on your side with bolsters. Krysta sets up whichever feels better that day.
What is Prenatal Lymphatic Drainage?
A very light, rhythmic session focused on moving fluid. Many pregnant clients choose it for swollen feet, ankles, and hands. It's 60 minutes.
Is the pressure lighter?
Gentle to moderate, and adjusted to you. Krysta avoids deep work on the belly and certain points on the legs and feet during pregnancy.
Massage and the other services here are meant to help you relax and feel better in general. They aren't a substitute for medical care, and Krysta doesn't diagnose or treat conditions. If you're pregnant, recovering from surgery, or managing a health issue, check with your provider first and tell Krysta about it at intake.
